Want accurate, negative info off your credit report? Good luck

I live in Cincinnati, and my fiancee and I had a couple rough years back in 2006, causing us to have delinquent bills. It affected our credit score drastically. We are now debt free and are in the process of trying to purchase a home. Our credit scores just aren't ready yet, and my question for you is: Is it possible (legally) that a creditor could delete our negative credit listings if I ask them or give them a decent reason to do so? Is it something that is possible, or is it mandatory that it has to stay listed on your report for at least seven years? Thank you so much. -- Nicole Jeremy M. Free Credit Report is a rip off | CreditRepairFree.Org

FreeCreditReport.Com is a rip, and so hard to end services, you get 9 days free then if you email them to cancel it does no good, they will not honor it till they get you on the phone and try to scam you into staying by saying they will take 5 dollars off, if you agree to that you stay signed up for 5 dollars less, not 5 dollars worth of refund. Not to mention to cancel you have to give someone in pakistan or India or somewhere your social security number, credit card number, and mothers maiden name, from a company that makes a living scaring people about identity theft!!! WOW

I tried ending mine in October of twenty ten! I just found out today that i have been getting charged since then i even called them and told them to cancel it! But they are still charging me! I called today and they offered me a ten dollar or 80 percent discount i declined ,and they assured me that they would cancel my account but i had to confirm it on the site i still have not been able to figure out how to do it!?

I just got off the phone, because the website wouldn’t allow me to see the “How do I cancel my account” FAQ. So, once I was able to call during their open office hours, it was past my trial. I fought with Shalam or whatever his name is, and he told me he couldn’t refund the money. After about 20 minutes, I demanded a manager/supervisor, and it was magically able to be refunded.

Theres the key!

soo not a scam if u read ppl will know that and they are nice enough to give u a trial period and if u cancel your not billed i did it why is everone bitching HELLO just read its not that complicated and half the ppl pissed cause they got chaged are more mad at them sleves for being irresponsible and not reading 1 st sign is it ask for credit card # DUH

I got the report and cancelled the same day, and never got charged. The best thing to do is read up and get educated on their product first. I’ll admit they are tricky in their offerings. When I emailed the same day to cancel and called to reference that, the email was a legal document as long as it referred to the account. I’m in the insurance and financial industry, this isn’t a shady business.

I just gave them all my private and clicked ok for a free report, but I got only a blank screen and never got my report. Next thing I got an email saying that I didn’t have the right to view my credit report again(!) even though I never saw it(!) and that they were now offering me a free credit score. Did anyone else have a problem like this and what was the resolution. My worry is that they are not legit and that they now have all my sensitive info. Can any one help?
