Who are Thee Jaguar Sharks you might ask?   We're a group of Surf & Garage purveyors based in Phoenix, Arizona.  James Miles (guitar), Tony Robinson (Bass), Nick Pasco (drums).  We started in the dark days of October 2008, practicing at a seedy business park but soon migrated to Wahalla Music.  Lo, the universe proclaimed "you should record an album!"  To this we obliged. Watched over by the surf gods, with tiki drums pounding in the distance, the Sharks keep the surfy sounds alive.

What do you expect from a band into martinis, '65 Mustangs, and Fender guitars?  And yes we watch Wes Anderson movies, listen the Ghastly Ones, and attend the occasional Los Straitjackets show.    For us, it's about that reverbed out guitar, that tom-tom hit on a Ludwig kit, that bass thump of the "bompa! bompba! bomp!"  It's about conjuring dark alleys by the beach and drug-addled Chinese bikers named Sato.  It's about dreamy sirens and manta rays.  We ask, in this day and age of Sham Wow commercials and global warming, who DOESN'T need reverb laden surf music? 

It's all about having some fun and enjoying ourselves.  Someday, and we hope it is soon, we hope to see you, yes YOU, at a Thee Jaguar Sharks show.
